Scientists states that the Artic Ice would completely melt within 20 years if the industrial nations keep on polluting the atmosphere with harmful emissions. If the industrial nations do not take preventive measures to stop pollution, it would too late and there after nothing can be done in future. The Artic Ice will be melt and this would lead to drastic effects.

The Industrial nations need to reduce the volume of emissions that pollute the atmosphere on the national level. They should also increase the state funding to struggle against the global climate change.

It is an open secret that the leading nations do not wish to reduce their industrial activities which indirectly pollute the atmosphere. The United States is now trying
many ways to develop a new agreement to reduce pollution which will reduce the pollution.

Arctic Ocean plays a very important role in the global climate system. Latest images from a satellite show that the polar cap of the Earth has been reducing in size in past few years. About 80 percent of ice will disappear in the Arctic Ocean in this decade. Scientists say that the Artic Ice may vanish completely in the next 18 to 20 years.

Biotechnologists Found Breeding Cows that burp less

Greenhouse gases are responsible for damage of the ozone layer. The greenhouses gases increase the global warming day by day. Hence these kinds of Breeding Cow play a major role in mere future to control the global warming.

Cows are responsible for producing more than half of the total methane emissions when compared with other resources. The gas is mainly produced from the bovine burps which are 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide as a green house gas. The Biotechnologists from Alberta did a research on the genes that are responsible for the methane production from the cow’s stomach.

The Biotechnologists have worked hardly to breed environmentally friendly cows and now they have succeeded in this case. They completed preliminary tests using conventional methods to breed animals like cow, goat that produce 30% less methane than the existing animals. But there is a long way to make a large impact on this issue. We as human beings have to look on the next generation animals to be eco friendly.

The Biotechnologists are currently doing research on the genetics through the blood test and the hairs that are pluck from the animals.

These Biotechnologists have suggested 2 methods to reduce the methane gas from the animals. One method is through breeding cattle which could become more efficient in converting feed into muscle and this produces less methane and waste. Another method is feeding livestock in a diet which is richer in edible oils, which ferment less than grass.

Reducing the methane emissions from the burps will make an eco friendly atmosphere and this method should be implemented as soon as possible in all the countries.
